A Chicago Mob Story: The Man who loved being a Gangster

By Thom L. Jones

I have struck a city-a real city-and they call it Chicago... I urgently desire never to see it again. It is inhabited by savages.

- Rudyard Kipling

In Chicago in the 1920s and 1930s there was enough crime to go around. Plenty to satisfy everyone.

As one journalist put it, "In all the…

In the process he gave the FBI gems like this: “The ending ain’t going to be good. I’m taking no prisoners.” The feds do take prisoners and hit him with murder and…See More

Living Life: Crime, bikers, prison gangs, and the future

By LeRon L. BartonOn a Tuesday in San Francisco, California, I was scheduled to meet up with Tony, a guy that answered an ad I placed on Craigslist.org. He and I traded texts on when and where to meet and decided on The Mission, a historically Latino neighborhood in San Francisco. I’ve always been a fan of The Mission. It is arguably the most vibrant area in San…See More

I will be working on a book about Patrick Kelly, but need a Publisher to help organize events “Inside a mafia family” This book will be a spin-off of Bob Delaney Book, “Covert” Blowing the Whistle on the Mob. I have spent over 5 years with the Kelly family and know their habits and life style. In Delaney book a lot of holes in his book witch I can fill in the truth of a Mafia family. Contact me

Grazie' for adding me to your blog. I have been following you for quite sometime on FB. I have found some very credible Cosa Nostra Historians since I finally stepped up in 2005 and 4 years after the Old Man died due to Joe Jr. suddenly left us with a massive heart attack at 60 which was from all the cocaine use, sad reality. I have a website= (http://armoftheageddon.com/index.html) and a film Trailer on my unique view on History. The only thing different with me is I was on the inside of the Sicilian Mafioso or what the Old Man called the hidden kingdom 's Sicilian National Syndicate which this article sheds light On. (http://www.motherjones.com/politics/1995/05/new-mafia-order).

I enjoy all comments on my posts but keep it civil and I do enjoy a good debate on History, but like I post above in the Mother Jones Article on a New Mafia Order is how I will try and show my view by documentation with my information on the criteria or each event in History. I do not glorify the Sicilian Mafioso and especially it's front fall guy Organization in the Americanized Version, I deplore the immense amounts of Chemical drugs brought in our country daily which I hate to testify was my main business from early teens to my 30s, I am very blessed to have lived through it and only thing I will say on my the Old Man, I am his Bastard Son which my mother was his mistress from 1954 till late 56 when I was around 9 mths old, she went back to her Husband. sounds like a damn soap opera or Movie but it is surreal and I survived Hells Kitchens worst from 6 yrs old to 14 with 1 bullet hole and 4 major blade wounds i was moved to my present Home city in Hot Springs Ar. Here is my film trailer and Salute' to you all.

PS: The reason my name on my 1956 birth certificate is the Old Man had had his legally changed for this deportation trial in 1954, he fixed this trial and had a Arizona supreme Justice in Evo Deconcini testify in his behalf and his lawyers was a close friend of mine in Tom Chandler but we would not meet until 1975. http://www.apfn.net/dcia/god-f.html
