O.k. I was in lower manhatten on Madison Street one day and the fellow I was with, who is the son of a Wiseguy, told me that his father wanted me to meet Lefty so I went into his club (a hole in the wall). Immediately after having made his aquainance he suggested I go down the celler with him as he had something he wanted to show me. Ha? I told him "forgetaboutit" as I do not go into cellers with strangers. Well he insisted that he had a package of Stocks down there and he wanted me to evaluate them. "After you," I said and thereafter. when I saw what he had, I laughed and told him, "I had those stocks in Brooklyn from Roy Roy just a couple of weeks ago. They were, at the momernt, worthless. Indeed, they were stained with a red substance? Notwithstanding, Lefty insisted that I take them and see what, if anything, I could get and we would split it. I said forgetaboutit;  because that is a trap. You take possession and thereafter if anything happens to them you are responsible; he was not putting me in that trick bag. But nonetheless he insisted that I should take them and he would not make that claim if something like I just discribed occurred. Since I had a witness to what he said I agreed to take them (but honestly I didn't want them period). Well, as the world turns, I had to dash uptown to see someone else and, since I have an associate who is into [garbage] stocks on occasion, I made it my business to pass by his office. Well, as life sometime provides, he was out in front of his office as I was navigating by and I beeped and waved to him whereupon he waved back that I should pull over and he proceeeds to tell me that ,"I'll take anything for two points." Score!!! I receive appropximately $5,000 and, when I finished by business uptown I returned to Left's to give him his share. He, instead of saying great, he begins to object, in words to the affect that I had no business selling them? Thereafter, Lefty got in touch with the Wiseguy who had sent me there and asked for a sit-down because of his claim about me selling his stocks (Really)? Anyway, at the sit-down, I saw where he was going with it, and having experienced how these kind of guys change the facts to suit themselves, I immediately began to question him with leading questions indicating exactly what I have written hereinabove; to which he answered yes but tried to argue he didn't understand that I was going to sell them . Well, his captain asked, "What the hell are we doing here; forgetaboutit. And the sit-down was over. However, I did make one more comment. I said words to the affect that, "You better reign in this guy before he gets everyone in trouble."
