What is it about the Mafia and hunting terrorists? A couple of weeks ago we had a former Philadelphia mob boss who told us that he’d kill every terrorist and hang their dead bodies in front of their homes – if the government paid him enough – and now we have “Big Pussy” getting together with the “man who shot Osama bin Laden.”
“Had a drink with ‘Big Pussy’ Vincent Pastore in Manhattan,” former Navy SEAL Team Six member Robert J. O’Neill writes on his Instagram. As the photo above shows, both men had a grand time, though O’Neill’s many photos rarely show him having anything but a swell time – even when he’s out training in cold Alaska or operating in the wastelands of Afghanistan or Iraq shooting bad guys in the face.

O’Neill always has a smile on his face. Which - him being an ass-kicking, man-hunting, elite of the elite badass - is understandable. Especially when you remember that he claims to be the man who shot and killed Osama bin Laden.
Though accounts about who exactly pulled the trigger on bin Laden vary and cannot be confirmed, it is clear he was part of the operation that glorious night in Pakistan. He details his ultimate mission in his newly released book The Operator, about his time as an elite member of DEVGRU, better known as SEAL Team 6.
As O’Neill and “Big Pussy” of The Sopranos recalled their biggest hits over drinks, the Navy SEAL had a personal gift for Pastore. “I signed a book that I didn't pay for,” O’Neill jokes. “It fell off a truck. Fugget about it!”
