I never have been to Brooklyn, always wanted to go. My father hung out there in his earlier years but he won't tell me any stories especially the story about how he got bullet holes in his car. He's the only one in the family from Jersey who has a Brooklyn accent. So you can imagine how different we are living out here in California.

hey leonard,hope you are good my friend..carmine persico and vic amuso still cling on to the title as boss of there familys,vic is 76 and jr 78 i think..these two caused a lot of killings and turmoil in the time they went to prison..carmine was a good boss at first but was in and out of the can for a lot of the time he became boss..we know the history of the colombo war with vic orena,wild bill and little allie boy and many others you know that were involved leonard,do you think its time he named a replacment or do you think the colombos are more or less done as one of the five..as for little vic,wat a mistake he was.tony ducks wanted buddy,but vic and gas sent him bye bye,so christy vouches for them as good people to run the borgata but all they done was run it down,the two tommys would have thought,wat the F..K.yet amuso still clings to power,or is it really power..more than likely its the $..have a word with him leonard,tell em there is a wonder boy waiting in the wings..

After Abba Shots Jr. was arrested and it came out that his car was bugged it was attributated to Carlo to have said that, "My name better not be on those tapes!" The sun is always shining here in Cali. (except for today, supposed to rain which will freak everybody out esp. on the roads) Southern Cal is probably the best place to live during the winter months. Nice dry climate not humid like Florida! 70 degrees every day. Take a trip out here this time of year instead of freezing your cogliones off back east:) My Dad would love the company! He's a great cook too! He loves to reminisce about old times just not with me!

I have a friend in Long Beach and another in or around L.A. are those places far apart from where you are? Us Brooklyn Guys just never go to far from the neighborhood. But once I finish up what I have to here in N.Y. I am heading west so you will be hearing from me probably after this coming summer. Long Beach and LA are about 30 miles apart. You can fly right into Long Beach Airport. Driving around these areas is quick between 10am and 2pm. Otherwise, it can take you an hour to go 10 miles on the freeway and that's no joke!!!

I've been a full time professional musician in the South Florida area ( Miami, Ft. Laud. Boca Raton) for 30 years. I don't have to tell you how many wiseguys I've had the pleasure to work for, and get to know socially. I think its okay at this point to drop a few names as I know these fellows are long gone. But I've gotten to know guys like Etore "Terry" Zappi, Jimmy "Blue Eyes" Alo and a few others who would always wind up in sunny South Florida during the winter months.
I have a dear friend who is having a problem with a certain Soldier in the Lucchese family (who is still very much alive, so I can't mention his name) All I'd like to know is if this fellow is okay as he owes my friend a substantial amount of money. Hes not returning phone calls, so my thought is either he has simply decided not to pay my friend or maybe he is in the can at this point and can't return phone calls.
And yes, there really is a friend, its not me pretending to cover my tracks.
If this forum has a private messaging place perhaps I could speak more frankly there.
Any help or thoughts you may have would be greatly appreciated.
Yeah Jimmy was a great guy, he used to come into a place in Hollywood Fl I was working in called "The Top Of The Home". It was a reall class joint on the top floor of this office building.
Look, I'm going out on a limb here for my friend, but the guy I want to ask you about is Johnny Sideburns. He owes a very dear friend of mine a large sum of money and hasn't paid it back. When he borowwed it he told my friend not to loose "a single nights sleep over it". Well its been well over 6 months and he has dropped out of sight. My friend cannot get ahold of him. They had been very close, almost like brothers for close to 30 years so my friend had no reservations about lending him the money he said that he needed to start his new business (he had just got out on parole in nov 2009).
I don't want to get anybody in trouble, all I'd like to know is if hes allright, or maybe he got poped for something and hes in the can right now and thats why he doesn't take my friends calls (BTW- my friend doesn't even own a computer thats why I'm doing this for him, hes 72 years old)
I know that Johnny is still a soldier in a Lucchese family, and at one time was an acting capo. I have also heard stories from guys up north that maybe he got "upped".
Anyway, anything you can tell me would help my friend a great deal.

I had dinner with him once with my friend who loaned him the money and he is one bad as$ guy. I would NEVER want to mess with this guy. He is almost definitely a capo in Lucchese and at very least a high ranking soldier.
Its just that my friend and this guy were such dear friends. My friend has been through some tough times lately and could really use part of that dough back.

I actually came across a comment that you made on the Benjamin Ruggiero biography, and you were writing that you actually had met Lefty. I think that's really interesting, and I'm going to ask you things regarding that also.
