Your question reminds me of a conversation I had with a guy named Johnny Dio. He said that he never liked the word "mother-fucker." But given the present circumstances, we were incarcerated once again, he said they are "Double mother-fuckers."
Mr. Conforti: Thanks for the tip. On reading your suggestion, I used that word for this guy, a double-crossing double-mother fucker, and found some satisfaction, but still I want something deeper, a word that recognizes the deep pain that this traitorous bastard has caused me. My anquish is unending and the thought of it fills my nights with nightmares.
I am not sure but I think that the man you mention above was a regular at Crisci's on Lorimer Street in Brooklyn--a place much remembered and missed, by members of every walk of life. Judges, Monsignors, Cops and Gangsters alike, in one dining room, enjoying Charlie Crisci's food.
Quite possible. Out of the Bronx with Toomy Brown's crew. Was charged, back in the day, with having orchestrated the throwing of acid in the labor columnist Victor Riszell's (phonic) face and blinding him.for life. His brother Tommy was also up there and he was arrested for the importation of two hundred keys of h back in the day through a soldier mustering out of the service. My friend you sound much like many of us who have been betrayed by so-called friends. From me to you it aint worth losing sleep over because that is a form of self induced punishment and haven't we suffered enough without adding to it? Believe me a man dies but once but a coward, he dies a thousands times especially when his memory kicks in and the fear rises up from within his belly. I also understand how difficult it is to appreicate where I'm coming from but hey we roll with the punches now don't we!!!!
P.S. I also recognize the neighborhood; the fish house and the Club where the old man use to hang his hat and those fellows who live above. My old friend, who was close to Johnny Irish, introduced me there.
Looks like the 1st one is not completely legible so I'm sending it again---Quite possible. Out of the Bronx with Tommy Brown's crew.
