Fuggedabout Batman. Ben Affleck is back! In The Accountant, he stars as the mildly autistic Christian Wolff, a math savant with more affinity for numbers than people. Though he looks like a boring office clerk, he actually works as a freelance accountant for some of the world's most dangerous criminal organizations, anyone from the Italian Camorra to Mexican drug cartels.
With those kind of clients, you know things will go bad pretty quickly. Looking at the trailer, that’s exactly what will happen. We also get the idea that Wolff did all he could to prepare for World War III.

Affleck is joined in The Accountant by rising star Jon Bernthal (The Wolf of Wall Street, Sicario, Fury, Grudge Match) who can be seen frequently aiming his gun with silencer at people; Anna Kendrick (Pitch Perfect, End of Watch) as Affleck’s love interest; J.K. Simmons (Spiderman, OZ) as the man who tries to bring Affleck to justice; and John Lithgow (Cliffhanger, Dexter, Third Rock From The Sun).
This looks to be an intriguing film that offers us a look inside a wide-ranging conspiracy that will provide us with plenty of thrills and action. It is scheduled for release in October of this year.
