Two MS-13 gang members appeared in federal court in Houston, Texas on Friday to face heinous murder charges. Walter Chicas-Garcia and Jimmy Villalobos-Gomez, both 23 years old, are allegedly high-ranking figures in Mara Salvatrucha, better known as MS-13.
The two men allegedly were involved in a brutal July 3 killing in which the victim was beat and hacked to death with a baseball bat and machete. All so they could increase their position within the MS-13 enterprise and climb the ladder.
If convicted, they face up to life in federal prison or the possibility of death.
