One last job. It’s cliché but always manages to deliver the goods. Just like the brilliant Clint Eastwood has done for so many decades. Now, he’s back. Directing and starring in The Mule, based on the true story of World War II veteran Leo Sharp, who became a trafficker for the Sinaloa cartel while in his 80s.

Sharp was arrested by the DEA in 2011 and within several years the story of this 87-year-old narco trafficante was on its way to become a motion picture.

Eastwood is joined in the movie by a star-studded cast comprised of Bradley Cooper as the DEA agent hunting the elderly drug smuggler, Laurence Fishburne as Cooper’s boss at the DEA, and Michael Peña as a cartel enforcer.

The Mule is in theaters December 14.
