The president of the Bronx chapter of the Pagans Motorcycle Club was murdered in a brazen gangland hit on Saturday. 51-year-old Francisco Rosado was shot in the head and chest by two men in broad daylight on Holland Avenue in the Bronx. The hitmen were caught on video.

The video footage shows the assassins arriving in a Jeep Cherokee SUV. As they get out, they can be seen pointing handguns equipped with silencers. They aim their guns at Rosado, who stands no chance as the two gunmen pop off several controlled shots.

Meth and the Mafia

9237140455?profile=originalThe Pagans Motorcycle Club is considered an outlaw biker gang by authorities. Formed in 1959 in Prince George's County, Maryland, it spread across the United States. They currently rank as the fourth largest outlaw motorcycle club after the Hells Angels, Bandidos, and Outlaws.

Pagans MC bikers have frequently been linked to the drug trade – specifically the production and trafficking of meth and PCP, but also of cocaine, heroin, and marijuana. In Philadelphia they have strong links to the Bruno Mafia family, providing muscle and working together in various criminal activities.

It is unknown what the motive behind this murder is, but authorities fear a biker war might erupt in New York between the Hells Angels and Pagans.

UPDATE JULY 23, 2020: Two Hells Angels and another outlaw biker were charged with the killing of Rosado. Read the entire story here.
